3.Paytm Launches an investment arm “Paytm Money Ltd”. 
- Paytm Money Ltd is been set up with an investment of $10 million.Paytm Money is the Fourth product of Paytm from One97’s the other three products are:

4.Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has launched a common mobility card scheme to aid seamless travel between the city’s bus transport and the Metro system.
- Delhi has become India’s first city to have a common mobility card, which can at present be used on 200 DTC and 50 cluster buses plying on different routes, apart from metro trains.
5.The Matunga suburban station on the Central Railway (CR) of Mumbai division has entered into the Limca Book of Records 2018 for having an all-woman staff.
- The aim of the initiative is to create an environment where women are encouraged to take a decision about their own personal and professional well-being.

6.World Hindi Day is being celebrated on 10 January 2018.
- The first world Hindi conference was inaugurated by pm Indira Gandhi by 1975.It is celebrated annually to pay tribute to the mother language of India.
7.Union Cabinet today gave its approval to a number of amendments to the Foreign Direct Investment Policy.
- This will lead to larger FDI inflows resulting growth in investment, income, and employment.
- The existing FDI policy on Single Brand Retail Trading (SBRT) allows 49 per cent FDI under automatic route and FDI beyond 49 percent and up to 100 percent through Government approval route.It has now been decided to permit 100 per cent FDI under automatic route for SBRT.
8.World Bank projects India’s growth rate at 7.3 percent in 2018 and 7.5 percent for the next two years.
- World Bank said India has enormous growth potential compared to other emerging economies as an ambitious government undertaking comprehensive reforms.

9.Aanchal Thakur, a 21-year-old from Himachal Pradesh, has created history by becoming the first Indian to win bronze in the international medal in skiing.
- She won the medal in slalom race category at Alpine Ejder 3200 Cup organized by Skiing’s international governing body, Federation International de Ski (FIS) at the Palandoken Ski Centre, in Erzurum in Turkey.
